About Tower of Transmutation

The Tower of Transmutation is among the towers of order (rectangular shaped towers) and opposed by the towers of creation (round shaped towers) - considered an irony as the magic of transmutation is the magic of change - but according to ordered principles. On the roof is a magical circle of power and a magical basin from which transmutive magic is called. This mulch-floored model includes a great hall, the hall of learning, the main council hall, master's private quarters and library. One floor is open to the air, allowing passage over the wizards bridges and the landing of flying mounts.

The Tower of Transmutation is opposed by the Tower of Abjuration and associated color is purple.

About Towers of Magic Volume 1

The Towers of Magic are each member schools in the Order, the most high order of wizardry. Each tower represents a specific school of magic known to players of the world's most popular role-playing game. Some say each of school is equal, yet the Tower of Transmutation and the Tower of Transmutation seem to vey for supremacy - with the Tower of Transmutation having the upper hand because of those who fear the power of the dark powers.
