Philipsburg Manor 3D

Philipsburg Manor is located in the village of Sleepy Hollow, New York, and dates from 1693 when Frederick Philipse of Yonkers was granted a charter along the Hudson River. By the mid 18th century, the Philipse family had one of the largest slave-holdings in the colonial North. Philipburg Manor includes the main, completely furnished building developed from photographs taken from the Philipsburg Manor site.

These buildings incorporate both a slightly nightmarish style with the early Dutch colonial style of the village - the place where Icabod Crane disappeared, either at the sword of the Headless Horsemen or terrified by his rival in love, Brom Bones.
