Hi there,
Not sure were to ask this but "Discussions about this site or related social media venues." sounds right.
I'm thinking about making more video tutorials on youtube and would like to monetization it (which isn't much).

Youtube have been sending out these notices:

Dear username,

At this time, we are unable to approve your video(s) because we do not have sufficient information regarding your commercial use rights.

We may consider your video(s) for further review provided you verify that you are authorized to commercially use all of the elements of your content. This includes all video, images, music, video game footage, and any other audio or visual elements. Learn more

Thanks,

The YouTube Team

Here is a game clarifying the issue for its community.

Can I make money from my video/stream?

Yes. As far as we’re concerned recorded videos of the game belong to you. In the same way that when you draw a picture – the picture belongs to you – not the company that manufactured the pencils. Feel free to make money from your videos on YouTube, or Twitch, include clips in your TV show, or make a DVD box set of you playing and a sell a million copies of it for a million dollars each.

I wont be using any images or 3D objects from mirye/e-frontier, just shade3d and my original works.

Has mirye/e-frontier made any statements about this?

Thanks in advance.

We love instructional videos! :)

In general, all content within the Shade 3D Content Installers are free to use in your videos and artwork. You can use them for commercial work or whatever. We cannot make a blanket statement on all Shade 3D content that could include the Mori Collections, or the character models or the like. Those all have their own EULAs. What it comes down to is that for making instructional videos on Youtube, you can use the Shade 3D Content included with the installers, no matter if you charge for the videos or not. So you can use the canned stuff in the installers.

Fairly soon we will have a page set up for links to tutorial sites - In fact, Ill start a thread a little later about this, so people can add their links and then we can post them to the site.
