Resolved Elven Village 2 3D Model Series R3 Released, Available on Renderosity

Meshbox Elven Village is a series of 3D models based on the classic fantasy and RPG elf species. Elven Village is the ethereal home of elves, rich with history and unique architecture, crystal lamps and green dragon skinned roofs.

See below as models are released individually on Renderosity.

Elven Village Volume 2 has been updated, expanded under a new R3 specification. Meshbox received significant feedback from customers on what they wanted to see in an update. The series will continue with the format of releasing most models individually as well a Complete Edition which includes a bonus model (not available individually):

The series is licensed in three packages:

X for Blender or X for Poser3D
These are the individual models licensed for use in art, animation and film and available through Mirye Software and Renderosity. The R3 versions of this level include the following improvements:

  • Some geometry improvements. Required to go along with material improvements.
  • High resolution, expanded materials. All textures are 2048 x 2048, and in addition to base maps and bump maps, also include normal maps.
  • Original & Sea Elves materials. In addition to the recreated, higher resolution original maps, there is also an alternative map set called "The Sea Elves." The Poser version includes Material Collections to switch between them.

X Art Edition or X Art Edition Complete
These are the individual models licensed for use in art, animation and film and available only through Mirye Software. These include:

  • Both the X for Poser3D | DAZ Studio and X for Blender models, including 2048 x 2048 map sets
  • Standalone OBJ, .mtl models
  • 4096 x 4096 HD texture sets for both Original and The Sea Elves

X PRO Edition or X PRO Edition Complete
These are the individual models licensed for use in art, animation and film and also for real time playback such as in computer games and available only through Mirye Software. These include:

  • Everything in the ART Edition
  • Original 3D Studio MAX .max files
  • PRO license


PREVIOUS LICENSEES
The previous versions of these models are now discontinued. If you licensed a previous model in this series (the R2 series) then contact us for a free upgrade! Renderosity licensees will get this automatically.

The Elven Lighthouse is a tall imposing stone structure, capped with a large crystalline lamp that shines farther than the lamps of those of mortals. Located on a protective stone foundation, you must climb many stairs under silver and green elven lamps. Astronomers may walk through the entry hall and out to a standalone platform and observatory seat, and gaze at the stars using a silver elven telescope. Roofs are covered in green dragon-skin and decorated with the symbols of the House of the Swan.

The Elven Herbal Healer is one of the most respected of the fair folk - a devout follower of the Lady of Healing & Mercy. Up past the statues of the lady and under silver lamps you enter into the shop, where you can sit or stand and examine dozens of vessels of healing solutions in jars and bottles. Down steps lead to a huge glass growing area. Above, one can find healing rooms with beds. Roofs are covered in green dragonskin and decorated with the symbols of the House of the Swan.

Elven Stables have to accommodate several types of steeds - both terrestrial and aerial! A gated, green grass enclosure surrounds the towered stables, with two upper floors dedicated to flying mounts, such as giant owls, hippogriffs or griffons. A large grazing area acts as a corral for horses. Roofs are covered in green dragonskin and decorated with the symbols of the House of the Swan.

Atop a grand and ancient world liana enwrapped tree is a beautiful elven manor house, with a beautiful railed patio, and multiple rooms for contemplation and socializing. To reach this high place, one begins at the roots, mounting a stair that passes up and through the trunk - all along the way, silver and crystal elf lamps light the way. Luxurious by any other standard, the Elven Cottage is a typical home of an elf that hasn't achieved such a rank or station to be able to build among the ancient elven trees, but must live on the ground. The building is angled and set with a gated and fenced garden, and yet still elevated on a platform of stone. Silver lamps illuminate the patio. Fully furnished rooms, including a spacious, huge-windowed living room are included. Roofs are covered in green dragonskin and decorated with the symbols of the House of the Swan

Elven Dock has all the beauty of other elven architecture, with sculptures and even paintings. The main boat house has a mooring for covered work on small boats. Each dock section is easily customizable and extensible. Roofs are covered in green dragonskin and decorated with the symbols of the House of the Swan.

The Elven Glassblower works in an beautiful two floored building which utilizes two separate glass kilns that are artfully concealed under dragonskin. Inside and out you can see evidence of the glasswork done there. A spiral stair connects the two floors. Roofs are covered in green dragonskin and decorated with the symbols of the House of the Swan.

Elven Village 2 PRO Edition
The .max version works with MAX 2014 and higher.

Elven Village 2 for Poser & DAZ Studio
This set is compatible with Poser 11 or later and DAZ Studio 4.21.0.5 or later.
In the Poser version, you can switch between the material sets them using Material Collections: Reset (to Classic) and Sea Elves. This model includes two character models: complete (all furnishings) and empty (base building), as well as prop versions of most components.
