Meshbox Elven Village is a series of 3D models based on the classic fantasy and RPG elf species. Elven Village is the ethereal home of elves, rich with history and unique architecture, crystal lamps and green dragon skinned roofs.

Elven Village Volume 1 has been updated, expanded under a new R3 specification. Meshbox received significant feedback from customers on what they wanted to see in an update.

The series will continue with the format of releasing most models individually as well a Complete Edition which includes a bonus model (not available individually):

The series is licensed in three packages:

X for Blender or X for Poser3D
These are the individual models licensed for use in art, animation and film and available through Mirye Software and Renderosity. The R3 versions of this level include the following improvements:

Some geometry improvements. Required to go along with material improvements.
High resolution, expanded materials. All textures are 2048 x 2048, and in addition to base maps and bump maps, also include normal maps.
Original & Sea Elves materials. In addition to the recreated, higher resolution original maps, there is also an alternative map set called "The Sea Elves." The Poser version includes Material Collections to switch between them.

X Art Edition or X Art Edition Complete
These are the individual models licensed for use in art, animation and film and available only through Mirye Software. These include:

Both the X for Poser3D | DAZ Studio and X for Blender models, including 2048 x 2048 map sets
Standalone OBJ, .mtl models
4096 x 4096 HD texture sets for both Original and The Sea Elves

PREVIOUS LICENSEES
The previous versions of these models are now discontinued. If you licensed a previous model in this series (the R2 series) in 2023, then contact us through the SUPPORT link below before placing an order. You can get a FREE UPGRADE to the model to the R3 specification. We need you to supply proof of previous license from either Mirye Software or Renderosity (Renderosity has no 'upgrade' system, so we have to do this directly).

Elves grind the finest grains for the legendary elven bakers. The Elven Watermill has a arched walkway over the wheel that can be connected to other arched walkways. Outside a curved bay window, its possible to enjoy the view of the water below. Inside, on the first floor is the mill itself, whereas above there are living quarters for the miller and his apprentices.

The Elven Inn is a welcome sight, for it is hidden from the eyes of mortal men by elven craft. Up an elegant double set of stairs, one is led into a grand hall under a gleaming silver lamp, where a concierge awaits. A pair of lit patios allow for viewing the gardens. Upstairs rooms, including a party room, offer balcony views of the town.

The elven church is a beautiful, stain glass decorated dome, with open passages allowing the wind to pass through. The altar is simple, a quiet, place where unpleasant thoughts and unwelcome memories can be sacrificed. To one side, the owl-crested chair of the priest awaits.

A silver hammer rings musically on an ancient and magical anvil. Sheathed in a dragonskin roof and elven roof accents, this beautiful building is both serviceable yet very distinctly elvish. The Elven Village Blacksmith is the last stop out of town to sharpen your blade for adventure. Out back, you'll find beautiful, finished swords, axes and shields, while the smith works inside, a table of smith tools and a complete forge. Overhead a beautiful elven lamp lights his work.

Elves prefer to avoid conflict, yet their communities must provide some protection against the dangers of the world. The Elven Village Guardhouse is made of layered stone and built within a lake, connected to shore by bridge that in turn is protected by founder stones. Open platforms allow both archers and elven wizards to launch attacks against threats, and chains are there for tethering griffons and dragon mounts. Inside, a large chamber provides refuge for the elven people, as well as a store of weaponry.

Unlike other races, elven societies treat forests more like a farmer raises livestock and work animals; not all trees are for cutting or turning into smoke. The woodshaper will cut down trees, but as much, they plant and raise new trees, and use their special magic to shape trees for beauty and other uses. The woodshaper's house has an attached greenhouse, and a main room where he both works and rests. Outside, two balconys feature potted trees, and a beautiful leafy trellis adds both beauty and coolness to the woodshaper's home.

The elven market is where elves come to purchase foods and specialty items like spices, set in a small fortress with well lit paths. Inside, two floors are devoted to the display of fresh foods and a central meeting place for elven shoppers. Some carts are available outside, to rapidly deliver new items to the market.
