Shade contains innovative tools for animation projects of any scope.
All versions of Shade native animation begin with the Shade Joint System, a collection of intuitive, interactive constraints and movement definitions that emulate how joints work in soft body entities as well as machinery - and more. Use joints to control lighting, cameras, path based animation and more. Shade joints can be constrained and controlled by object sliders, letting you manipulate an object interactively from object properties or directly from within the Motion timeline window.
For native character animation, Shade Standard and higher includes a mature Inverse Kinematics and control panel system for creating complex, hierarchical motion objects.
