After weeks on the trail, nothing takes the stink off a man like a good bath, shave and a whiskey at a town bath house. A big metal drum out back heats water drawn from a water pump, brought in by bucket to heat the three bath tubs. Customers can hang their coats and have drinks in the waiting room, while the bath house owner can count his coin in his office (and hide it within his personal safe).
